Watch the coronavirus webinar here: NO TECHNICAL PROBLEMS!

Wow! More than 3,000 leaders showed up for our webinar GriefShare meetings during the corona crisis.

Our webinar provider's servers crashed, and video froze. It's not their fault– the entire internet infrastructure is being tested as more moving online to work and for entertainment. That said, it was hard to watch.

The good news: we were finally able to record a clean version of the webinar without the technical challenges. You can watch it now. You are free to share this video with your GriefShare leader team and church leadership.

VIEW WEBINAR NOW

Let me sincerely thank all of you who came to the webinar and for your patience during the technical challenges. I'm excited about the ways you will use this new technology to minister online.

I cant figure out how to put a notice on our "find a group" site in order to note that we will be able to offer on-line video viewing next week

Betty - There is a field called "Additional Information" when you enter the information for your group. You can explain that your group is meeting online there.

I had a terrible connection to the afternoon webinar so I waited for the link to watch it on demand. I tried the link last night and it worked but I didn’t have time to watch it. Today it won’t load. It just spools trying.

If you have a person that wants to registrar where should they go to be able to do this. Also instead of me meeting with them to get there book can they go to the site and look at a PDF file and print out the home work assignment..

I registered all my participants as discussed in the Webinair so they could access the videos, but the only place I see to access the videos is from the leaderzone. I tried going on the website and looking up my church to see how members could find the link to watch the video but I could not find an access point or request to enter their name to login to watch the video. Do I need to give them my leader login? I really don't think that would be the right thing to do. Please help. My virtual meeting I was planning for Monday evening. If necessary I will do a zoom conference and see if we can all watch the video during the zoom conference, but me fear is it will take to much bandwidth and crash.

I found the link when I went back in to send to the participants. Ignore my last email.

I got to the part where you are talking the four ways of conferencing when the screen went black and the message "video couldn't be decoded."

Good Evening!
Thank you so much for providing the tools for us to still meet with our participants and for the great webinar. I've registered all of the participants with name, phone number, and email, but I have 2 participants that don't have email addresses. Can they access the videos online using their phone number instead of email?

Where can the participants get the workbook. I understood they could find it and buy it online?

The online version of the workbook will be released this week. It's not quite ready. Watch your email for notification.

Watched the video - awesome way to continue the ministry. Where are the resources listed in the coronavirus virus video? I thought I knew, but can't find them. Thank you.

Question: If my group members connect to the Free Conference Calling number with a land line, will they be charged for a long distance phone call? I need to know for a couple of folks who do not have cell phones. Thank you.

Mary Meredith- Here is information from the freeconferencecalling website:
–––––––––
Will I be charged long distance?

Every participant will dial a toll number (not toll-free/1-800). Depending on your long-distance plan or phone service, you may be charged long distance fees by your telephone provider for the call. Note: You are not charged anything by Free Conference Calling ever in conjunction with use of this conference call service.
–––––––––
Also keep in mind that a person on a cell phone plan that has a limited number of talk minutes could exceed their monthly allocation, creating extra charges.
