About this Ministry
Several times a year, Live Oaks Community Church offers a 1-day “Loss of a Spouse” event, followed shortly afterwards by a 13-session “GriefShare” program (delivered over 12 weeks). In late fall, a 1-day “Surviving the Holidays” event is held as well. Our programs are open to anyone in the community who has lost a loved one. If you have any questions, please email GriefShare@liveoakschurch.org or call the church. One of our LOCC GriefShare leaders will respond promptly.
The GriefShare Experience
Navigating Loss and Grief
Find relief and comfort at a GriefShare support group. Each week you’ll watch a 30-minute video with insights from grief recovery experts and people who share their personal stories. You’ll then spend time sharing with people who get what you’re going through (there’s no pressure to talk!) and take home a guide with helpful exercises for personal healing. Groups meet for 13 weeks.
