Brunswick Street Baptist Church GriefShare

GriefShare is a 13-week program for those who are walking the difficult journey of grief. There are three key elements in GriefShare that work together to help participants recover from the deep wound of the loss of a loved one. First, there is a video seminar that provides insightful information on various grief-related topics. Sessions include personal stories of people who are grieving a death and commentaries by Christian experts, who also have experienced the loss of a loved one and who speak on grief and recovery topics from both biblical and practical perspectives. Secondly, there is a facilitated group discussion about the video and how it applies to participants. Thirdly, the personal workbook provides further opportunities to study and apply the concepts. Throughout this program, participants organize and clarify their thoughts on what is happening to them and learn how to navigate the stressful journey of grief.
