If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, please join us for a time of encouragement and fellowship. We meet the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:30 in The Chapel, our former book store. However, please note the meeting normally scheduled for Aug. 16 has been moved to Aug. 23. Our children's grief ministry for ages 6-18 will resume during the Sundays @ 5pm Service in Room C-8 (lower level of the church) on the following dates:
September 9 & 23
October 7 & 21
November 4 & 18
December 2 and 16
The Morning Star Ministry is a free, faith based, community-wide program serving children between the ages of 6 and 18 and their families who are experiencing grief and loss. We provide a safe caring environment in which children can learn to identify and cope with their emotions. Most importantly children can learn that “You are not alone.” They see that others are experiencing the same kind of grief and emotions.
