The next GriefShare Support Group will begin meeting on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. This series will be a 13 week series of group meetings finishing on Wednesday, 24 July 2024.
These sessions are FREE and open to anyone in the Alamogordo/Tularosa/High Rolls/Cloudcroft area who are experiencing grief over loss of a loved one. Each session is “self-contained” so You can start at any time with our GriefShare group as you feel the need for grief support, not just at the start of a new GriefShare group session.
If you miss a session, you can view that video online on your schedule. To view sessions on line you will need to set up your own My GriefShare account at the My GriefShare website.
Note: Many individuals join when they need and often continue to get support from one or more group session series.
These sessions will be "in person" group participation. Facial Masks are at the discretion of the individual.
GriefShare includes a weekly video seminar featuring some of the nation’s foremost experts on dealing with grief. Each seminar is combined with a small group discussion time to allow group participants to talk about the content of the seminar and about how they are dealing with the death of their loved one.
Finally there is a workbook for participants for further personal study and reflection and to help sort out your emotions through journaling. The church is providing the workbook at no charge.
