I always feel a little "awkward" welcoming someone to GriefShare. To start with, the reason a person would seek out such a group is because of the recent death of a loved one,... a spouse, a parent, a child, or a close friend. As we learn in one lesson, grief is the price we pay for loving someone. When that person dies, it is a profound loss, one that disrupts the very fabric of our lives. And from that point, we have to make a new "normal" for our life. GriefShare has a motto: "A journey from mourning to joy." If you find yourself on that journey and you'd like company to make that journey with you, please consider our GriefShare group or another GriefShare group in the area. Please know that God loves you, and we are here to help you along that journey. Peace.
