GriefShare is a Christian-based, non-denominational program developed to assist those grieving the death of a loved one to move forward from Mourning to Joy. Each week provides a video about a subject that grieving people need to move through, such as "Who am I now?", "Anger", "Why", and "Where do I go from here?" After the video, a time is devoted to talking together about the subject matter, sharing ideas on moving through this area of grief and supporting each other through the process. A workbook is also provided to assist participants with additional suggestions and thought processes to help their journey forward. All meetings are confidential and open to the public. Participants are urged to contact the church or facilitator for additional information.
