Welcome to GriefShare! Glenn Kling will be facilitating. After his wife of 50+ years died in November 2020, Glenn was searching for help with his grief. After 7 sessions of GriefShare the impact was so meaningful that he knew he must make it available for others. He realized he had been immersed in grief and mourning but God had promised that somehow he would someday again experience joy. GriefShare began that journey.
Dealing with grief is hard work and not an easy path but it is necessary work as you "move forward" and not just "move on".
We will be meeting on Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:00. Child care is available. You may purchase course books for $15 at registration. We look forward to walking this journey together.
The first session is registration, an introduction to GriefShare, sharing our personal loss story, watching a video by experts and everyday people who have experienced loss in their lives, and discussion of what we have just seen. ALL SHARING IS VOLUNTARY; NO ONE HAS TO SPEAK.
Please note: GriefShare is designed for and limited to people who have lost a loved one to death. Our pastor, Dodd Mays, is available to counsel other loss situations.
