Welcome to GriefShares "Surviving the Holidays" event.
The holiday season can be one of the hardest times after your loved one's death. We are here to help you face those tough times and emotions. Being prepared as best you can will help you though these upcoming holidays. "Surviving the Holidays" is run just like a GriefShare group, with 3 main parts:
* We will watch a short video, which is filled with practical insights from grief experts and from people who know what it is like to face the holidays after loss.
* After the video and depending on group size, we will either stay together or break into a couple of breakout groups to share/discuss what you learned from the video and how it applies to your lives, and lastly
* We will have time to take a look at the "Surviving the Holidays Survival Guide" that you purchased, which has many helpful exercises, tips on handling social events, comforting Scripture, and guidance for holiday challenges.

(If you already have a "Surviving the Holidays Survival Guide", you will not need to order a 2nd one. We will be using the very same one as last time, so please remember to bring it with you!)
