The loss of a spouse/partner can be difficult, unique, and your journey forward, seem hopeless. You may feel lost without your "person." You may have challenges you never thought you would ever have to think about. We may seek ways to numb our pain through various avenues, such as:
* Workaholism
* Drugs/Alcohol
* Sexual Behaviors
* Pornography
* Isolation
* "Retail Therapy"
* Excessive Exercise
* New Relationship -- Too soon
* Overeating
* Big Decisions -- Too soon
* And other obsessive behaviors.
All meant to avoid the pain of loss...
But, there is only One who can fill that void that is felt so deeply.
