Leader Training Video

The Leader Training DVD that comes with your GriefShare kit gives you an overview of what it takes to run a successful GriefShare ministry. Use this video to prepare your GriefShare leadership team for effective ministry. It’s also a great tool for training future GriefShare leaders at your church. Plan to show this video at least once per year to refresh your leaders, and whenever new leaders join your team.

The Leader Training Video (DVD Disc 6 in your kit) is divided into two parts. The first shows you why GriefShare is unique, what is included in your kit and what it means to run a successful GriefShare ministry. The second part helps potential leaders assess whether they are ready to lead a group, helps them see how other leaders have dealt with their fears of leading a group and gives tips on running a healthy group.

The video presentation on this DVD can be used in two different ways:

Individual viewing

If you have overall responsibility for grief recovery ministry in your church or if you are the person who is starting a new grief recovery ministry, use this DVD to help you formulate a strategy and foundation for your ministry.

Leadership training sessions

Use the Leader Training Video to train and equip people to serve in your ministry. It can be particularly helpful in assisting you in training support group facilitators.

The total viewing time is 55 minutes, divided into two parts:
Part 1 – Approximately 30 minutes
Part 2 – Approximately 25 minutes
